The Mexican Petroleum Congress (CMP) is the most important international event in Latin America related to the Oil Industry. The XVII edition will take place in the State of Campeche, the main oil supplier in Mexico, with the City of Campeche as its venue for the first time, from June 7 to 10, 2023.
The organization of this event will be in charge of the Mexican Association of Petroleum Geologists (AMGP), being accompanied by the Mexican Association of Exploration Geophysicists (AMGE), the College of Petroleum Engineers of Mexico (CIPM), the Association of Petroleum Engineers of Mexico (AIPM) and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Mexico Section, which unite their efforts with the objective of promoting knowledge and technical and technological updating that allow Mexico to take optimal advantage of exploration and exploitation of the nation's hydrocarbons.
The CMP is designed for technological and scientific exchange, annually bringing together more than 8,000 specialists from around the world, belonging to research and educational institutions, government entities, and specialized operating and service companies.
The program will include more than 300 technical conferences, in the modalities of plenary conferences, oral sessions, poster sessions and short pre-congress courses. The works selected by our committee of technical experts will be exhibited by national and international specialists. For the Industrial Exhibition, a space of 15 thousand square meters has been planned, to house 700 stands for exhibitors.
One of the most important benefits of the forum will be the productive interaction between government officials, regulators, operating companies, service providers and industry users through business tables.
